Netflix House – Philadelphia Location
On November 11, 2025, Netflix hosted a VIP Red Carpet celebration in Philadelphia to mark the pre–grand opening of its first-ever Netflix House, located at the King of Prussia Mall. AV Rental Services, Inc. was selected as the exclusive audio-visual provider for this high-profile, celebrity-filled event—unofficially dubbed the Netflix House VIP Grand Opening Party & Red Carpet Photo Junket.
Red Carpet & Outdoor Production
We provided complete sound reinforcement for three distinct areas, both indoors and outdoors, including full DJ support for the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff.
The outdoor setup featured the main Red Carpet arrival area inside a large, secured tent positioned directly outside the Netflix House entrance. This was the primary location for television, radio, national, and local media coverage. To ensure seamless execution, 90% of the equipment was installed the day prior, giving our team ample time to address any obstacles before event day.
Because our client had precise expectations for both audio quality and visual presentation, we deployed our sleek Turbosound column speakers, which delivered exceptional clarity while complementing the aesthetic of the red carpet environment.
A continuous red carpet path connected the tent to the Netflix House entrance, creating a polished backdrop for photo ops, dignitary remarks, announcements, and the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. For this portion of the program, we discreetly positioned a second sound system outside the tent.
To support broadcast and press workflows, we installed a professional press/mult box for the ribbon-cutting as well as another inside the tent for media interviews and the red carpet junket.
Celebrity Attendance
The VIP event welcomed a wide range of Netflix stars from shows such as Wednesday, Stranger Things, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Emily in Paris. Local dignitaries—including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro and State Senator Amanda Cappelletti—were also in attendance.
As is typical in our industry, while the public areas were immaculate, meticulously dressed, and camera-ready, the back-of-house was bustling with equipment, cabling, and the operational headquarters that made the event run flawlessly—an unseen world these photos help reveal.
Captured here is the space behind the ‘Netflix’-branded backdrop—a discreet hub where equipment was stored, control systems were operated, and crew members could take a moment to relax as the show ran seamlessly.
Indoor Experience & After-Party
Inside, we provided Cory Townes and DJ Jazzy Jeff with all rider-specific DJ gear, ensuring they had precisely the brand and models they required. The evening concluded with a high-energy party set from Jazzy Jeff, bringing excitement and celebration to the launch of the very first Netflix House—proudly located in Philadelphia.
